Homework- Manners in the UK and in my country

Each country has different culture manners. When I came to England, I had never lived in another country. I came from Taiwan, and now I live in England. I'll compare two countries about the West and the East cultures of my experience. There are so many different cultures about life style. For instance, Taipei is Taiwan capital city, and London is England capital city. Taipei is similar to London. Both Taipei and London have convenient transportation, crowded population, air pollution, large shopping area, main train sation, and busy night life. Now I have lived Nottingham city for eight months in England. Taiwan and English are unlike, education, holiday, Weather, Diet, Buliding, Environment, and culture of politeness.

Firstly, I'll talk about Education. Primary school of England is smaller than Taiwan. English pupils are relaxed to study, no big bookbag, no much homework, they always take a lunch bag to school, and pupils always have many school holiday. Pupils in Taiwan work hard. They always take a big bookbag , many textbooks, everyday homework. They also eat big meal in lunch time, and pupils haven't many school holiday. English have longer hoiliday during the year. They have three long vacations, Chrismas, Easter, Summer holiday. Pupils have three sessions and each sesion has one week school holiday. If it was stronger snow, schools could closed. My view is English pupils happier than Taiwan pupils, and English parents needed to take care of children all the day.

Secondly, I'll talk about weather, and food. I felt crazy aobut English weather. In my opinion, there are different kinds of weather types during a day, sunshine, windstorm, raining, icerain, and snow. I never saw snow in my country city, but we often have typhoon. When typhoon came to Taiwan, we often have typhoon holiday. Typhoon always have intense windstorm, strong raining, nobody can go outside. Taiwan food is incredibly delicious and cheaper than English. We can buy anything in store on the street, or night market. And we also have 24hours convenient stores on the street. If we want to eat any thing, we can go the store to buy food and the articles for daily use. Besides we can book different city's speacial snacks online, and moring book afterwards the specacial snacks will arrived afternoon.

After this, I'll talk about buliding, and environment. When I came to Nottingham, I saw English Buliding always had a garden and chimney. I have never seen a chimney and garden house in Taipei. Our builing are flats and large buildings. Following that I walked on the street in Nottingham, I often saw many big rubbish bin in front of the houses. That looks strange. In my country, the city dustmen drive the clean car through each street every day at the same time. We needed to wait dustmen on the street at the same time. And this time we also can see many neighbours standing and waiting the clean car, that's interesting.

Finally, I'll talk about culture of politeness. My feeling is that English more polite than Taiwanese. When I came to England, I often heard "sorry". English always say sorry. In my opinion, I can take my bag to large supermarkets, libraries. Large supermarkets and libraries in Taiwan, usually customer can't bring big bag inside. I think English really respect everyone. So there are many different manners in the UK and in my country. Different countries have different cultures. We need respect different country's cultures.
